Available to regional artists in the beginning of their career, Espace PLATFORME was created in the fall of 2008 following a desperate need for alternative venues and following the request of many artists. It is actually a short residency of about fifteen days reserved to LOBE members. Often the site of a first solo exhibition in a professional artistic context, PLATFORME space contributes greatly to the recognition of emerging artists and their professionalization.
The works integrated within the framework of this residency are presented for more than two months, the space being located directly at the entrance of the center’s building. Thanks to its unique location, this space allows the presentation of installations exploiting a double point of view, since the works are both visible from inside and outside.
